Electrical Technician

£18 – £20 per hour

Ford & Stanley Interim – The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Electrical Technicians to support our client at their Belfast location on a long term contract role.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work for a company who have become international market leaders in the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for rail systems. The Company has a significant presence throughout the UK.

6 months, ongoing

Belfast- BT15

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical fault finding
  • Replace electrical components as and when required
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and correct accordingly

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will ideally have worked in a similar position within Rolling Stock or another highly regulated industry such as Aerospace, Automotive or Bus.


  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical/ Electromechanical Engineering
  • Fault finding experience
  • Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams
  • Use of diagnostic software
  • Flexible regarding working hours- happy to work shifts as and when required to meet the demands of the business


Rolling Stock experience is highly desirable
