Ford & Stanley Recruitment Open Day – register now!
Q: How do you give someone 5 extra days every week?
A: Help them find a job they love!
We do things differently at Ford & Stanley. For us, recruitment isn’t about getting paid fees for ‘putting bums on seats’. We appreciate that what we do influences the performance of companies and impacts on people’s everyday lives. We love the responsibility that comes with the job and take huge pride that we are the partner of choice for many of the UK’s leading rail and engineering companies, who appreciate what we do is different too.
Q: How do you find out about adding 5 extra days to your own week?
A: Come along to our Open Day
We have found that giving people the opportunity to meet their potential new colleagues in an informal setting is a great way of bringing new talent into the Ford & Stanley team, which is why we are again hosting a Recruitment Open Day at our head office in Derby.
You can talk to people about why they joined and then thrived as part of our team, what makes Ford & Stanley so different, hear honest and open views of what the job entails and what the rewards are.
Is this the right opportunity for you?
You’ll need to be bright, have a keen interest in people, possess great communication skills, paired with a positive attitude and willingness to work hard for your success. In terms of your background, we are looking for individuals with a minimum of three years’ work experience who ideally have a degree.
Previous recruitment experience is not required, as we believe in recruiting talented people with natural attributes, attitudes and behaviours – we’ll help you develop the rest through our Academy programme.
Say you attend, then what?
You’ve attended our open day, chatted with our team and beaten the chairman at pool (everyone does!) – what happens now? After the Open Day, we will be welcoming successful attendees back for a more formal interview.
For Alex Jenkins, this is exactly what happened. Alex registered his interest in joining the team following our Open Day in 2017 – his positive attitude and reflection of our values made him the perfect fit.
