High Praise Following Internal Promotion
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Rory Peverell to Rail Team Manager
Upon leaving school, Rory began his career at a company based in Burton-on-Trent that supplied traffic signs to the construction industry, where he was involved in sales and marketing for the company. His introduction recruitment started back in October 2010, where he predominantly recruited permanent positions for automotive, aerospace, construction and FMCG industries. It was here he had a great introduction to recruitment, eventually becoming a 360⁰ consultant specialising in business development, resourcing and overall client management for the business.
Rory’s move to Ford & Stanley came in April 2015, where he joined the business as a Senior Consultant. It was, by his own admission, a tough start for Rory who – to date had “self-taught” a lot of his white-collar recruitment practices. He experienced a steep learning curve to fully appreciate and understand the unique way in which we perceive recruitment here at Ford & Stanley, and how we truly are ‘All About People’.
During the past three years, we have seen Rory develop both personally and professionally, whilst establishing relationships with key clients and managing large scale accounts. He has also become a ‘go-to’ figure in the business, providing support and guidance for the wider team. In the last 12 months we have seen Rory flourish into one of the top consultants in our business and perhaps even within the wider industry – securing accolades such as Employee of the Month twice in 2017, Finalist of Rail Recruiter of the Year 2017 and Company Top Biller 2017.

Rory commented on his promotion: “Next month I will be celebrating my three-year anniversary here at Ford & Stanley – the timing couldn’t be better and I couldn’t think of a better honour than this promotion. Yes, there have been highs and lows along the way but it’s been worth it all. I would like to thank everyone involved – both internally and externally – who have helped me along the way; I certainly look forward to stepping into the new role and facing future challenges head-on.”
