Ford & Stanley Interim – The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a leading global Rolling Stock Manufacturing company based at their Newport facility in Wales.

The Opportunity

Newport, Wales

Duration

6 month contract, weekdays

Role and Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods inwards, using machinery as and when required
• Ensure materials are checked off accurately and inspected for damages and quantity
• Ensure deliveries are distributed in accordance with timescales
• Update stock levels on the system
• Issue materials for production as per the production plan
• Assist with stock takes

The Candidate

Essentials

• At least 6months experience in a warehouse/depot
• Willingness to learn
• Happy to be trained to use machinery such as fork lift trucks
• Strong IT skills

Desirables

• Experience using/updating stock systems
• BAAN knowledge
• FLT/Reach experience/license
